hex hex

electronic music production is heavily influenced by new technologies. funnily some of the most important tools originate in principles and interfaces from way back. think of the linear structure of software sequencers that refer to writing down a score when composing a track or programming beats. or how a midi-keyboard has the same layout as a piano.

here some links that deal with an alternative structure to deal with music production, a hexagonal grid.

-elysium, a hexagonal generative sequencer
-axis, a midi-controller that makes very effective use of the hexagonal structure
-reactogon, a hands on multi-touch sensitive arpeggiator

60% of Koreans aged between 25 to 29 have had a cosmetic surgery and Seoul alone has 1,300 certified plastic surgeons.

In Korea it is widely accepted 'ugly' woman to undergo plastic surgery else you may have a hard time finding the right husband and the right job. So you better go off and play the game of survival of the prettiest.

Andrew Huang's Doll Face animation presents an interesting version about misplaced desires that result in a fake beauty contest as seen in this and other countries.

watch this video showing how we converted the containers into a loophole-photo-exhibition and how we placed them in the center of Wiesbaden in occasion of the German regional election...
