SCHEISS SOMMER

not quite the real hot summer in town yet (at the moment just 22 degrees), on may 26th at 10:30 pm we launched the camapgne for arena berlin.

fucking summer / scheiss sommer is their claim for the upcoming season for 2009. our operation includes a complete image and ci campagne - posters, online, social networks, adds and much more. check out and sign in for facebook and myspace or see the flickr foto collection.

this really nice industrial area, consisting mainly of old brick buildings and an awsome container ship in the water of the bypassing river spree, being used as chill-out pool, will present themselves with a great program.


since about a week berlin is (not quite) cobbled with the great theme posters. at certain sites they become fan items and get ragged of the wall.

but where is the theme for chilling?

WOORIDUL Hospital 27th Anniversary - a Spanish Night in Seoul

On Friday 15th May, PLATOON KUNSTHALLE hosted around 800 guests for a spanish night theme on the occasion of wooridul's 27th anniversary and the MOU signing ceremony with its partner in spain.

what people probably astonished most is to see PLATOON KUNSTHALLE in a very unusual set up with the whole spanish atmosphere including lightening, food, decoration, performances and music.

OH-LOGO! AT TNT VOL. 3 IN SEOUL

at tnt vol. 3 oh-logo! member sascha ironed money in studio c, which was transformed in a surreal office. now my 5000 won bill is neatly ceiled in a plastic bag with a certificate^^

impressive were also the t-shirts made of real 1 chinese yuen and indian rupee banknotes by oh-logo!. through this occasion we got to know that it is not allowed to change south-korean banknotes in any way because the banknotes are property of the state of korea. koreans own just the worth of the money. interesting!

TNT VOL. 3 @ PLATOON KUNSTHALLE SEOUL REPORT

here comes a movie that was made by the korean music tv channel mnet about tnt, the t-shirt event that took place at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE from 7 to 10 may.

on the opening party about 600 guests enjoyed the t-shirt exhibition by renown t-shirt artists from Korea and abroad, the winners of the t-shirt competition, life performance by momo from new york, stop show by dirk fleischmann and the buffe-t (self-made t-shirt prints).

tnt will continue its tour to berlin and barcelona this year. keep on going

PLATOON KUNSTHALLE and DFSB kollective invite you to the first event of a special concert series on saturday 23rd may. every 3 months, korean musicians from all kinds of genres will perform live at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE in Seoul.

it won’t be just a concert though - the concept involves new forms of collaborations between the performing artists. in the spirit of PLATOON KUNSTHALLE loro’s and mad soul child are ready for the experiment of breaking the barrier between genres and also performers and audience. be part of it!

feetmanseoul.com, Korea's first and only independent online fashion magazine in English, has produced a large photo/art book filled with provocative pictures, as well as original photo stories, interviews, and essays about Seoul life and fashion. Produced by two non-Koreans, Michael Hurt and Denise Lejcar, this is also a prime example of how Korea is actually seen by foreigners, as opposed how Koreans want Korea to be seen.

the “seoul fashion report” is going to be presented by michael hurt @ PLATOON KUNSTHALLE on friday 22nd May starting from 7pm followed by an afterparty.
