since september 2008 I wanted to see this film in Mexico, I think that this film is going to be a big one!!! take a look at the trailer.

The director is from mexico city, and I get to know him, he is a cool guy and he has some great ideas... a little bit crazy but I like his work, I hope they bring the movie to Berlin... and please no translation!!! subtitles are ok :-D

Rabbit Adventures: Seafood

One thing i really appreciate about Korean food culture is the availability of fresh seafood. Travel either west or east coast and you'll find plenty of nice restaurants and markets. Chose anything from crab to oyster and they serve it the way you want as a soup, grilled, cooked, raw.

strongly recommended to try it out. lasting impression guaranteed. :)

„Fußballbrüder“ Mechanisierung Köpenick – Die Legende lebt!

A documentary about 10 pairs of brothers from the historic East Berlin club Mechanisierung Köpenick.

In the 70ies and 80ies of the past century, unnoticed by the flying flags of socialism, more than ten pairs of brothers played soccer at the – many times renamed - East Berlin Club Mechanisierung Köpenick. That was and still is record-breaking! In their never-ending but always unsuccessful battle for third-classness they made club history. „Fußballbrüder“ tells the story of the meaninglessness of a historical change because even after the collapse of a world system, many of those brothers remained loyal to the club. Despite the fact that the bone breaking and ligament tearing continued, for some players even several times, the club still exists a hundred years after its formation – also thanks to these people. What has become of them and how are they doing today?

After almost two years of iPhone the team of Skype has released the official app for the iPhone, it is really good, the quality of the sound is high, and it is very simple to use. It still has some minor issues, like if you are talking on Skype and you get a normal phone call, the app will give you a hard time to go back to your Skype call.

I do not know if you should change from Fring to Skype, if you are using Fring to chat with your pals and not really into voice talk then stay on Fring, IM+ or whatever you are using. If you really want to improve the sound quality of your calls you should move to the Skype app.

The rumor is that the Skype for iPhone allows you to make VoIP over the 3G network on the actual iPhone 3.0, but you have to keep in mind that the 3.0 is a beta, and probably they will lock this feature for the commercial version of 3.0, but that is something that ATT will decide, after all... they will loose a lot of minutes if you are able to use the Skype over 3G.

The good thing when Skype runs on 3.0 is that you will have background notifications, to know when someone wants to contact you, because now you need to have the app active in order to communicate... not very cool...

100 BALLOT-BOXES in front of the BUNDESTAG

today we mobilized our PLATOON forces in a massive operation for the stimmen für den mindestlohn campaign. #









we placed 100 huge ballot-style-boxes in front of the german parliament with a crew of more then 60 people.
















then we joined the "we will not pay for your crisis" demo, an european wide demonstration which in berlin attracted about 30.000 people, marching against an irresponsible capitalism and the injustice of having to pay for the corruption within our society.

temporary architecture - ARTE meets PLATOON

last week, the international TV channel arte, broadcasted a short documentation about temporary architecture featuring among others: PLATOON, the temporäre kunsthalle berlin and the "kitchen monument" a project by raumlabor and plastique fantastique.

of course, we (tom) have been interviewed and mentioned.
