sevenstar gallery anniversary exhibition

seven star gallery invites you to its 1 year and 77 days anniversary. if you want to experience unusual photography and visual culture this is the place to be.









our special force trooper, Peter Lorenz #1692, will present some of his photographs during this exhibition. Peter has been working with us on the portrays displayed in the container-installation that is touring around germany for the minimumwage campaign.

PLATOON KUNSTHALLE is ready to roll!
we are happy to invite you to fire it up at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE on april 11&12.
this weekend will give you a taste of what's to expect in the future.

in the showcases a series of exhibitions of the finest subcultural artists will be presented.
we are happy to feature nana, song baksa, fur/etoy corporation and brad downey as the first artists to start this promising series.

PLATOON KUNSTHALLE is also happy to announce the first crews and artists who will bring life into the studio residency containers.
park soomi, the tnt crew and junkhouse will introduce themselves and their work.

on saturday we open doors at 4pm with a bbq, a great opportunity to look around and get a feel for the space itself. from 9pm the party is on!
live performances and dj sets will heat up the night with raw and juicy sounds.

11일 토요일에는 1층 showcase에서는 작은 전시회들이 열리며 옥상전망대에는정통 독일 쏘세지 BBQ가 있고 멋진 야외 bar가 열립니다.
2층 studio에서는 신예아티스트들의 작업현장이 펼쳐지고 오후 9시부터는 한국,일본,독일 에서 온 뮤지션과 독일 ,영국에서온 DJ들이 펼치는 뜨거운 오프닝 축하 열기의 파티가 시작될것입니다.
12일 일요일에는 토요일 오프닝에 미쳐 오지못한 이들과 토요일 오프닝에서 너무 노신분들을 위한 한가한 오후의 BBQ 브런치 와 와인,커피 가 옥상 전망대에 준비될 것 입니다.

nils clauss is a photographer from berlin, living in seoul for a couple of years now. coming from architecture photography he moved the field of photography to different areas. his new series about declining neighbourhoods waiting to be torn down and being replaced by apartment complexes looks very promising. echoes of people's former lives create a spooky atmosphere and paradoxically make the everchanging character of the city highly accessible. check it out~
