Alexander Lehmann is a political active, sociocritical and exceptionally gifted german animation designer. with his diploma thesis du bist terrorist he created already quite a buzz in germany.

his most recent work explains once again, that our freedom shall not stop in the world wide web. threat and danger will not be eliminated by closing up one of our most important articels of our federal constitution - article 5 freedom of speech.

SEOULSONIC VOL.2

thanks to everybody for coming last saturday for seoulsonic vol.2 at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE.
it was quite a nice concert and a cosy atmosphere.









the first show was presented by EE. for me EE was the best team of this concert. they showed powerful performance with kitch style visuals from old korean animations. also they wore stone washed jeans and jackets from the 80’s and two Mr. Es did a really fun performance.















especially the lady, lee yunjeong, had a such big power and stage manner for gathering people, so many people jumped up to the stage and danced there.










































the second team was mad soul child who already participated at seoulsonic vol. 1.
their sound is now well-known to everybody.































last team was mad moiselle. two beautiful ladies(one rapper and one vocalist) drew all attention to them. especially the men’s.












on the rooftop, bbq was ready as always. this time chicken was sooo good!

NO YOU CAN´T

the great show in tv with the aspirants for the new chancellor of our republic ended up in a flop.
to those expecting to hear different views, or a debate to find a reason why one should vote for one of them: just forget it.

I ask myself, how is it possible in our times,
that we must live to see such stupidity?
it was like a school lesson, where you just say your text.





after the show, v.i.p`s expressed their own opinion, i love claus peymann, he said:
it was just so damned boring!


that´s it. can you vote such people with no ideas????

FLASHMOB FOR THE MINDESTLOHN!

the FLASHMOB for the MINDESTLOHN @ the schlossplatz in Berlin was a success!









hundreds of people showed up spontaneoulsy for about 20min... an qued to give their symbolic vote for the minimum wage in Germany.















the weather was fantasc the setting ideal. with the berliner dome and Alex tower in the background we couldnt find a better spot!


































a big thanks goes to all of you who managed to come!
for all the others there will be for sure another chance!

congratulation both of you. it makes me happy to see the achievements of PLATOON.

on saturday 12 september it's time for the second round of our seoulsonic series, organized by the dfsb kollective and PLATOON KUNSTHALLE. mad soul child, mad moiselle and EE will perform their shows in collaboration with vjs kwon, dizi and lumpens. check out more information below!

mad soul child's melodic vocal house tunes attract different audiences from the club crowd to mainstream listeners. their pop appeal also got them several tv commercial deals which spread their music on a massive scale, boosting their popularity.

mad moiselle's exciting visuals and strong beats stand for genuine 'visual electronic live performances'. dj casker and dj eon who have been active in the electronic music scene for years now take care of the project's musical part, a vocalist and a rapper complete the project team. the visuals will be provided by music video director and visual artist dizi. together they are preparing an extraordinary performance!

EE
EE is a music/art project by pipi band's cultural icon lee yunjeong, artist lee hyunjoon and Mr. E. Mr. E is a mysterious entity that changes with each of EE's projects. EE don't care about disciplinary boundaries between music, art, fashion, dance etc. use all of them in combination with visual and sound media to create new forms of performances.

Our friends from RepairBerlin whom we met during the Cracking The City exhibition, are calling for participants to get involved in a Park(ing) Day Battle here in Berlin on September 18th 2009.
