the future of our world was determined by this occasion. and my future was directly influenced by it as well, because i was in nyc during that tragic september, and i was supposed to begin a new future over there. the decision to move to u.s was at first a very unusual one for me, something that was mostly due to my desire to change my personal life than being driven by political reasons. however after 4 weeks it was not possible for me to stay anymore, because the whole nation fell in a psychotic trauma which freezed life completely and i just couldn't stand it any longer.










the war in iraq, guantanamo bay, many assassinations all over the world...thats´ what has followed. today.













a new debate about people converting to islam started in germany, furthered by the government!!!
















this two men didn´t look like having a dialogue in 2001. quite on the contrary: they pushed with aggressions the worlds political stage and cherished a viper in their bosoms.

"GENUG GESPART!": NEW NATIONWIDE CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCED

today we announced a nationwide political campaign with a press conference in berlin. within the last months PLATOON did the concept and realization for this campaign which will be placard beginning september with 4 simultaneous motives. another two series will follow during the next months. including a complex website (start: beginning september)

it's an image campaign for civil services in germany. the two big workers unions ver.di and dbb work together for the upcoming bargaining and so they decided to launch political campaing to inform the people and the media of the worse situation within our civil services.

the claim 'GENUG GESPART!' ('ENOUGH SAVING!') denounces the reduction of the budget for civil services.

the billboard in the pictures tells that 10.000 jobs in youth work where cancelled so 25% of youth work is not longer existing. there will be other examples such as public transportation, hospitals, public pools, theaters, etc..

so: let's change something!

yesterday I read in the newspaper
der tagesspiegel following article:

WWF: ANNUALLY 100 MILLION FLUSHES OF SHIPS END UP IN THE OSTSEE

according to surveys of the environment-foundation WWF (world wide fund for nature), every year about 100 million flushes of ships end up in the „Ostsee“. in addition - according to surveys at shipping companies of „Ostsee“-cruisers and ferries - about 1,6 billions liter of wastewater from showers and cleaning buckets.

not even a quarter of those ships disposes its wastewater to land, so annually about 450 tons nitrate and 150 tons phosphats run into the „Ostsee“.

„the broth works like dung. the plants grow intensified and deprive the water the oxygen“, said the leader of WWF-„Ostsee“, jochen lamp. those nutrients contributes that this inland lake again and again is obsessed by the algae pest. because of 60.000 ship-passages and 90 millions passengers the "ostsee" is one of the most cruised seas in the world.


harbours have to raise up their disposal-capacities


according to the WWF, just nine shipping companies agree for a voluntary self-commitment to stop 2007 the discharge of their excrements – also „Hurtigruten“ and „Peter Deilmann“, two providers from germany.

up to now there is no explicit disposal-prohibition of excrements outside the twelve-seamile-zone in the „Ostsee“ - but „such a obligatory regulation should be desirable!“, says jochen lamp. the shipping company -aida cruises- reportedly notifies to assent to a self-commitment next year.

beside shipping companies, according to jochen lamp, in future also the harbours should have the necessary capacities, to make it possible for ferries to dispose their wastewater environment-friendly.

art goes heiligendamm

raumlabor-berlin, built in a smaller standard, the exclusive meeting place for the G8 summit - named "silver pearl". a grandious fake of the original. it was, to the wide diffenrence, opened for all people. the big room inside the historical bath-house is for theater, music, talks with artists a.s.o. in the next big hall you can watch some videos and installations.







adrienne goehler had a new idea for an art intervention to the G8-summit. in rostock she curated an art-area on the harbour and some exhibitions in public-buildings and also installations on places in the city. some international artists followed her invitation. it was a mixture of very serious and humorous works.





































but thats not all. you could also sleep there in small rooms with good covers, fresh air and a fantastic view to the river mouth.




































































































perhaps its a new and a good way to include fine arts in political protests on stage. my congratulation to adrienne goehler for her engagement and realisation.

but i was very angry and sad in rostock. I fear that we are all string puppets. the G8 states fuck us. they allow our protest with all excesses. it doesn't matter. we are alibis for the free world. so I think we must touch the sore spot of our regime: the economy and their money. i dream of a general strike first 5 minutes ... thats the only language they understand.

neo-nazis mobilizing against g-8 summit

this year the G-8 summit takes place in heiligendamm , from june 06. to 08. some organizations want to demonstrate against the politic of the world richest states for a global world.

the same themes, but only in german interests, utilize the radical-right left party for themselves.
germany´s Neo-Nazis are using anti-capitalist rhetoric and start mobilizing to protest against the upcoming G-8 meeting in june. the police fear that there could be clashes between the extreme-right NPD and radical far-left groups also gathering to protest against the summit.


















now the other groups, who call out for demonstrations against the G8, have to cope with some problems. first they run up in preparation of the ngo´s, who want to demonstrate.at twice the ministery of interior orders many house-searchings and detains of peoples. but the anxiousness of the population was not as much as you think. even this days an ex-minister of the conservative-party accede to attac. he advises against the demage of democracy, through all the requirements who don´t guarantee the demonstration-rights.











in the blind right eyes of the government, the neo-nazis can unhurriedly arrange their own great demonstration, while other groups have problems to demonstrate - against the nazi´s or against the g8 summit.
perhaps it´s the best, to let the nazis demonstrate alone. in this time it´s not the first of national problems, it´s more important that many many people go to rostock on 2nd june. then the g8 states have a sign, that the population not agree.

New Passport - biometric photo

meantimes you can notice all-around the new terrorists laws. by the way I feel the summertime coming and my desire awake for travelling. perhaps to asia? so I looked to my passport and "ups" it was out of date. I go to the office of government to get a new. but it was not simply, then you must have now a biometric-photo. and the realization was at first really curious. see beside. you can study all regulations, how it must be, on this website (sorry, it´s in german language) but to the second it´s for me strangely, that my face is calibrate for/of the state....

as shown in this video, the police had to reach for their weapons in order to keep the nutty neonazi in Mecklenburg-vorpommern at bay. after the recent move of the NPD in the parliament from schwerin, it will probably get even worst. whoever watches this video will surely agree that the ANTIFA activists on location have all earned respect and solidarity. keep going! it's nice that there are still some upstanding folks over there.

wie in diesem video zu sehen ist, muss selbst die polizei zur waffe greifen um die bekloppten neonazis in mecklenburg-vorpommern in schach zu halten. nachdem nun die NPD in den landtag von schwerin eingezogen ist wird es wahrscheinlich nur noch schlimmer. wer sich das video ansieht wird mir sicher zustimmen, dass die ANTIFA-aktiven vor ort allen respekt und solidarität verdient haben. weitermachen! gut, dass es noch ein paar aufrechte dort gibt.
