It has been a really nice World Cup with you all....the weather, the many parties, the good vibes... and not to forget our fantastic team and our many new members!

now we´ll first need to have a break --- just to cool down! but already next week we´ll get in contact with you to let you know how it goes on from here...with our area... swimming etc...

es war eine wirklich tolle wm.. mit euch allen zusammen.. dem wetter.. den vielen parties.. der guten stimmung.. dem tollen team.. und den vielen neuen mitgliedern!

jetzt machen wir erst einmal pause - ausdampfen!

aber schon nächste woche melden wir uns bei euch, wie es mit unserem areal weitergeht.. schwimmen etc.

FRIDAY: PLATOON gamefree: PECHA KUCHA

NEW DATE! MONDAY 10.07.06

since the event scheduled for last friday fell through, we´ll repeat the whole thing on monday! everything else stays the same!

we wont speak about yesterday!

first of all: the dogtags for the final will be sold today. the price will be10eur, but dont worry, we prepared a supporting programme;-)
(only 450 dogtags will be available: when sold out- then it´s sold out: the event will be exclusively for members)

and here another announcement: on friday 070706 (gamefree) we will organise together with PECHA KUCHA.de a Pecha Kucha! ;-) ist´ about a lecture style show from japan; about 15 creative individuals will be presenting their work on our massive wide screen. in an entertaining but strictly regulated form:PECHA KUCHA means 20/20. the presentations will be conducted by means of 20 pictures, of which only 20 sec will be shown for each frame, during this scarce 7 min the most diverse projects and topics will be presented. so it actually is a very diversified, fast, exciting and suspenseful event.

vorab: heute werden die final-dogtags verkauft: 10 e, mit rahmenprogramm ;-)
davon gibt es 450: wenn ausverkauft – dann ausverkauft: nur für mitglieder

hier noch eine weitere ankündigung: am freitag 070706 (spielfrei) veranstalten wir gemeinsam mit PECHA KUCHA.de ein Pecha Kucha! ;-)
es handelt sich dabei um einen vortragsspektakel aus japan: ca. 15 kreative werden ihre projekte auf unserem grossen screen präsentieren – in einer strengen und unterhaltsamen form: PECHA KUCHA bedeutet 20/20. die präsentationen werden anhand von 20 bilder durchgeführt, von denen jedes 20 sekunden zu sehen ist. in diesen knapp 7 minuten werden dann die unterschiedlichsten projekte und themen vorgestellt.

also sehr abwechslungsreich, schnell und spannend.

unsere anna hat ihr diplom fertig und präsentiert es uns im anschluss als vj-act auf dem grossen screen!

the final week stands in front of us:

for this we made ourselves come something to mind: we´ll have a live concert before each game!

unfortunately for the concerts we had to incurr in a corrispondent series of expenses: that´s why for the half finals it is imperative for everyone: daily membership: 8euro

and please be on time! essentially its like it has always been: when it´s full then, it´s full.

**PS: in order not to be in the position to have to refuse entry to an excessive number of our members due to congestion of our facilities, we wont register any new members during this week. sorry ;-)



es steht nun die final-woche an:

dafür haben wir uns mal wieder was einfallen lassen: wir haben vor jedem spiel ein live-concert!

tom and I had the fortune to be at the olympic stadium especially for this game: incredible!

anyone who saw Germany against Argentina knows what im talking about. so we don´t need to write any report about the game itself.

WAR DAS EIN SPIEL!

tom und ich hatten das glück ausgerechnet zu diesem spiel im olympia-stadion zu sein: unglaublich!

jeder der deutschland gegen argentinen gesehen hat weiss wovon ich rede. also muss hier kein spielbericht geschrieben werden.

und da wir somit zum ersten mal nicht bei uns geschaut haben hier noch einen kleinen exklusiven film vom letzten elfmeter!

yesterday was a game-free day, a good occasion to take a breath. going home relaxed In the evening, walking, streetlight rosa-luxemburg-platz.... tatütata....tatütata.

blue lighted copsinks...behind, a bus. It has for sure something to do with the world cup. camera out, quick, and they are already there, our rivals of today: the argentinians.

a moment lasting a lifetime, even if only viewing it from the bus. vamos argentina, it will get very exciting...
coz the german lads want to get to the finaleeeee ooohhhh they would deserve it.

notification about the german game

dear PLATOON eV members;
as previously announced, the event taking place on our complex this friday will be strictly on invitation.

many of you have probably received already an invitation from the organiser, we´ll be opening again to the rest of our members in occasion of the other two quarter-final games.

doors will open as usual: 2 hours before the game
(so come from 15:00 to swim!)

liebe mitglieder von PLATOON.eV:
wie wir ja bereits angekündigt haben, wird es am freitag eine geschlossene veranstaltung geben.

viele von euch werden dafür vom veranstalter sicher bereits einladungen bekommen haben. für alle anderen mitlgieder sind wir wieder ab samstag zu den beiden anderen viertel-final-spielen offen.

wie immer: 2 stunden vor spielbeginn (also ab 15:00 zum baden!)

wir hoffen auf eurer verständnis: nicht traurig sein aber es muss so sein ;-)

without them nothing would work behind the bar, in fact during the midbreaks it gets quite busy, but this isnt the first time for any of them , they are well trained, thats why they keep it smooth, fast but with fun.
