PLATOON.cultural development is an organization supporting an international network of about 4.000 professionals working within the creative industries.

we are currently offering an internship position for our recruiting department in order to:

- co-ordinate, moderate and participate in the development of the PLATOON.NETWORK
- structure the network database
- process data of new recruits
- support the helpdesk at the Recruitment Office
- schedule meetings and events
- manage web and printed content (blogging and online research)
- administrate social networks

applicants must have the following attributes:

- background in cultural management or a previous experience with networks affiliated to the creative industries - event management, artist management, talent scouting
- excellent communication skills
- computer literate: excel, adobe creative suite (at least basics)
- good written and spoken German and English - native english speakers would be preferred
- clear and structured workflow
- an understanding of networks and communities
- knowledge about subculture and Berlin's cultural scene
- good team player but also capable of working independently
- self-confident and charismatic
- naturally creative and with a good sense of humour

candidates should have completed their studies in one of the following subjects:

- cultural management
- communication management
- event management
- information management
- journalism

the position is to be filled by the end of March 2010.
interns will stay for 6 months with the option to keep their job on a longer term.

ANIMATOR / ILLUSTRATOR

we are seeking for a freelance animator / illustrator for an episode of animated political-satire
(approx. 7 clips/ 60 to 90 sec. each)

- you illustrate and animate pictures
- you have a unique style and you are interested in political topics
- you animate cut-off illustrations or you are a comic drawer animating characters
- you work in Berlin

POLITICAL COPYWRITER

referring to our political campaign unit we are urgently seeking for a freelance, native German speaking copywriter with a core-competence in political campaigning

- you are an expert in writing short and sweet text and slogans
- you have a strong interest in political affairs
- you improve through excellent communication and social skills
- you are able to provide experience in campaign and advertisment writing
- you are comfortable working under pressure
- you work in Berlin
