A flock of Bimaculate Ducks swarm over Geumgang Lake in Gunsan, South Korea. They spend their winters in Korea, Japan or China; in summer they return to Siberia. The Baikal Teals are an endangered species.

NIGHT FLEA MARKET VOL.6 review

last saturday we had our 6th night flea market and it was the fullest ever!!!
50 sellers and the most fun people seoul has to offer gathered together to shop, chat, eat, drink and enjoy.










with the night flea market getting bigger and bigger the diversity of the participants grows what makes the flea market even more interesting






































there are more & more regular sellers like our friend chad
























and this time even old friends visited us again:
vj kwon and artist riu daeyoung having a currywurst :)































new artist in residence tilman performed in the hyper capitalism sexy supermarket jamsession (what a title... click to listen to the live recording^^)

for the first time mc phryme presented "wanted": 6 "shopping victims" presented their purchased items. and here's the lucky winner of a bottle of champagne!!! :)

We are in the end of January, it means that Berlin Fashion Week is over... but really... what means this event for normal people in Berlin? are they interested in the massive amount of strange people doing strange stuff in Berlin? do the notice the liters of perfume wasted everyday in the city? but I am sure they notice the Starbucks cups all over the place....
Last sunday I took a small walk around Berlin Mitte.... and I found an amazing amount of Stabucks cups everywhere... I could not resist to take some pictures of them...

review of CROSSING THE BRIDGE - A FILM BY FATIH AKIN

yesterday PLATOON KUNSTHALLE in cooperation with goethe institut korea screened crossing the bridge, a documentary film about istanbul's music scene and its many faces by fatih akin.

many people came and enjoyed the food and drinks and chatted before the film started





dream team honney & udo gave an introduction to the movie




























alexander hacke, guitarist of the german avantgarde band "einstürzende neubauten" guides throughout the film. with a method that he calls "street-recording" he tries to capture the sounds of istanbul's multifaceted music scene

tilman, one of the artists from studio-residency-program at PLATOON KUNSTHALLE, had a nice 'artist talk' introducing his past work and sharing vision of projects in future.

presenting one of his work in past. this is a photograph of him wearing 저고리; jeogori - upper garment of Korean traditional clothes. he created this with tape.














































explaining his on-going project 'photographers for korean prostitute'. he plans to work on this during residency period. he wants to keep it open to others' ideas rather than implementing his idea to others in the beginning of the process.
